Passed away on August 18th, in Freeman Hospital, after a valiant struggle with lung cancer.

He leaves behind wife Jean, brother Richard, sons Richard and Arthur and grandchildren, Hannah and Peter. All friends and family will be notified of funeral arrangements by his wife. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

No flowers please, but donations to Cancer Research UK are a welcome alternative.

Great brother, great walker, we climbed ScaFell Pike together only a year ago, great allotment gardner too, still eating his chutney. 65 years ago we cycled 1000 miles together, round Wales, camping, in three weeks!
